Abstract

The importance of this topic stems from the fact that the discourse approach and its analytical tools help uncover hidden, indirect meanings by activating the theory of position, which enables the recipient to understand the intentions of the originator of the Quranic discourse—providing good tidings, warnings, preaching, and other such things—so that they can reflect and be guided to change their behavior in order to attain worldly and otherworldly happiness. What made the communicative meanings provide a lot of important knowledge that a person needs in order to correct his behavior to achieve worldly and fraternal happiness

The nature of the research required dividing it into two sections. I devoted the first to establishing the concepts of the research title and explaining the tools of analytical pragmatics. I devoted the second to studying pragmatic meanings in Quranic discourse. This was followed by a conclusion that I devoted to mentioning the most important results of the research, followed by a list of the names of the research sources and references.
